Fijian’s death
**'.V Z. Press Association > NAPIER. Jan. 17. A Fijian scrub-cutter has died at Arapawanui, 25 miles; north of Napier, after being struck by the blade of a i scrub-cutting machine His name is not likely to; be released for several days.; as the Napier police said that, the next-of-kin in Fiji would have to be advised. The Napier police were notified about 8 a.m. A police sergeant and a constable had to make a four-mile journey across country in a utility vehicle, and walk for /ialf a mile, to recover the man’s body. It was found in thick scruo. An inquest is expected to be opened on Friday, when an other Fijian will give evidence.
