A STRING OF SUCCESSES

These Hampshire ram hoggets belonging to Mr D. S. Crosson, Risingholme, Methven. took first, second, third and fourth placings in a class of 39 at the Royal Show in Christchurch last November. Six years earlier at the previous Royal in Christchurch his hoggets occupied

all of the first five places in a ram hogget class with 26 entries, and since then his ram hoggets have continued to fill top places in Christchurch to the extent that at the last seven Christchurch shows the Risingholme sheep have filled 17 out of the 21 first three placings over those years.

Over that period the Methven sheep have also always won the Stewart Tory cup for the most points in the Hampshire section. And at the last five Royals the stud has shown the champion Hampshire ewe and also the champion ram at three of these shows.
