GENEVA. Jan. 1 Thirty-seven leaders and members of the Presbyterian Church in Mozambique have been released after being held in the Machava Prison, near Lourenco Marques. for, six months, the World Alliance of Reformed Churches in Geneva has announced.

It says that this figure seems to account for all those arrested, with the exception of the two men found hanged in their cells recently. The Rev. Zedquias Manganhela. president of the Mozambique Church, and a local church council member Mr Jose Sidumo.

The Geneva announcement adds: "No news, however, has been received about the fate of hundreds of political prisoners held in Mozambique."
