England’s batsmen cast away the chance of building a big first-innings lead in the second test against India on Sunday. After dismissing India for only 210, England lost six wickets for 126, its batsmen failing to master the spin of Bishen Bedi, S. Chandrasekhar and E. Prasanna. Each took two wickets. India lost its last five wickets; in 105 minutes, and its total ■ would have been considerably less but for a tvnically bold innings bv F. M. Engineer,: who was last out with 75 inj 210 minutes.
