Royal Sign pleases

Royal Sign ran a first-class trial for the Hastings Plate No. 1 when she took time honours at Awapuni this morning.
Purdie and Frisky Fred also pleased in preparation for the double races at the Wairarapa meeting. On the plough, which was fast. Royal Sign and Graven Spa completed five furlongs in Imin 1 3-ssec. the last three in 37 3-ssec. It was an excellent gallop for maidens.
Frisky Fred ran keenly over six furlongs in Imin 17 2-ssec, the last three easily in 40 2-ssec. Classic Profile completed half a mile in 53sec, the last three furlongs in 39 3-ssec. Lovely Honey galloped half a mile in 52sec, the last three in [39sec.
Purdie completed seven furlongs strongly in Imin 32sec, the final three in 38 3-ssec. Oma’s Oak and Cuyler, which look in good shape for Hastings, worked Impressively together over half a mile in 53sec, the final three in 39see. Evening Prayer took Imin 17 3-ssee for six furlongs, the last three strongly in 37 3-ssec. Tantara ran five furlongs in Imin 6sec, the last three in 39 l-ssec and Self Defence sprinted three "in 37sec. Hoodee was better than Palomaris over five furlongs in Imin 2sec, the last three in 38sec. , . , , , Kaukapakapa, which looks fit for the first. leg at Hastings, ran in 54sec. the last three in 139 4-ssee.
