Old boys’ reunion
“Up School” is the television play on Monday night. Old friends and nostalgic memories are the usual ingredients for a school reunion, but one former pupil in particular discovers that, for those who expect everything |to be the same as the good old days, there is only dis- ; illusionment. For Robin Handworth the reunion means two things—a reprieve from his nagging mother and an opportunity to see his former housemaster again. In fact it means a self-reappraisal and a final break from his past. "Up School” is an I.T.C. production. It was written by Alick Rowe and directed Iby Basil Coleman.
N.Z. drama “Tankbusters” is a New I Zealand film set in Welling- ; ton. It tells how four groups of student labourers devise and carry out an unsuccessful attempt to crack a safe containing student fees in a i university. Familiar names and faces • that crop up are those of Jim ' McNaught, Bruno Lawrence [and “Gallery” producer Des ' Monaghan. “Tankbusters.” produced by the Acme Sausage Company, can be seen from all channels on New Year’s Eve.
