POWERBOAT VOYAGE

(INVERCARGILL, Dec. 27. Two men left Bluff harbour late this afternoon in an attempt to circumnavigate New Zealand in a 22ft powerboat. Brian Pearce, a Kaiwere farmer, and Fred Davis, a retired Gore pie-cart owner, said before leaving that the 3000-mile voyage should take about three weeks.
