‘Labour unity' from U.K.

(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON, Dec. 21. A protest against France’s continued nuclear testing in the South Pacific is likely to be delivered to the French Ambassador in London by a British Labour Party delegation.

The delegation’s main object, however, will be to ; convey a resolution passed by the party’s national executive yesterday condemning the resumption of bombing in I North Vietnam and urging the resumption of the Paris ; peace talks. It will also call I on the American Ambassador. Last week, the party’s : international committee passed a resolution of protest against the nuclear testing programme, and in it expressed solidarity and support for the Labour Governments of Australia and New Zealand in their protests.
