BISCO BAY SOLD
Future racing in Sydney Blsco Bay, a recent qualifier, has been sold by Mr J. F. Penny and his Ellesmere trainer, F. L. Holmes, to Ingham Enterprises, of Sydney. A five-year-old gelding by Johnny Globe from Flying Ailsa, Bisco Bay showed ability as a trotter, but was much more impressive as a pacer. Scotch Mirth, a three-year-old filly by Scottish Hanover from Real Smile, has been bought from Roydon Lodge Stud. Ltd. bv Mis V. Milne, of Christ church, who has sent her to join a Sydney stable. Logan Gypsy, a recent qualifier in impressive style at Methven. has been bought by the Kurneu trainer, D. N. Hayes, who has also bought Bachelor Prince, a winner at Greymouth In October, from the Darfield trainer, L. C. May, who raced him in partnership with his wife. A two-year-old colt by Bachelor Hanover from Queen Ngaio. the dam of Waratah, has been sold bv Messrs K. and L. Brosnan, of Rangiora, to the Kumeu trrtner. I. M. Behrns. The last three sales listed were negotiated bv the standardbred division of Wrightson-NMA, Ltd Christchurch.
