Cup rivals go well
"The Press" Special Service HASTINGS. The Manawatu Cup rivals, No Show and Oncide, attracted most attention at Hastings yesterday morning and both galloped well. On the plough, which was holding. Oncide and Mlnlcort ran seven furlongs in Imln 33sec, the last five in Imin fisec and the final three in 40 3-ssec. No Show was three lengths ahead of Fleet Street over six furlongs in Imin Itteec, the last half-mne in 52jsec and the final three furlongs in 40sec. Master Morgan was going easily alongside Worker oven half a mile in 52sec, the last, three furlongs In 38 4-ssec.
Codeene and El Kay ran six furlongs in Imin 20 2-ssec, the last half-mile in 53sec and the final three furlongs in 40»ec. Ab-Bee ran six furlongs easily tn Imin 24sec. He makes his debut over ground in the Palmerston North Intermediate Cup and should win.
