General Election
Sir, —In reply to “M.C.H.,” spleen did not motivate my letter. For some reason you or your printer omitted the word “nauseating” I wrote, regarding his use of “General Election” correspondence to state Russia has been morally superior to the United Kingdom. After all, last week the Prime Minister swore loyalty to the Queen. It was a case of my stomach, right or wrong. I have no splenetic feeling against Russia, in spite of “M.C.H.’s” habit of using this column as a reactor for bombardment with propaganda. Actually the anti anti-Communist has always done a continuous disservice to Russia, and if inclined to be chronically pompous, to his own corpuscular economy as well. —Yours, etc.,
A. B. CEDARIAN. December 14, 1972.
