Stella Frost in good win
Stella Frost recorded her most important win in the United States late last month when she beat Flying Dream (Lumber Dream—Flying Jill) in a $15,000 race at Hollywood Park. She returned Imin 59 4-ssec. The previous night, Albatross, after a spell of one month, won a $50,000 race in Imin 56sec, beating Nansemond by four lengths and a half. He paced his first quarter in 27 2-ssec, reached the half-mile in 59sec, and the six furlongs in Imin 28 2-ssec, and then dashed over the final quarter in 27 3-ssec. It was his thirty-seventh two-minute mile. Albatross is to have one further start before being retired. He has now won $414,921 this year, bringing his total in three seasons to $1,156,470. Bramble Hall was successful in 2mln 2 l-ssec the same night that Stella Frost won, while a third New Zealand-bred winner that night was Local Call in the same time.
