Pool preparation
Now that warm weather is here pool owners must get set for the summer season with proper pool preparation. Taking a few preliminary steps will assure you of trouble-free recreation. Remove the protective winter covers from the pool and equipment and sweep inside the pool and surrounding areas. Inspect the pool to determine if any cracking of walls or floors has occurred. Examine all exposed valves, controls and pipes. If everything seems to be in order turn on the water to fill the pool. While the pool is filling check the filtration equipment for operational readiness. Follow the manufacturer’s clean* ing directions. Proper pre-coating of filter elements with filter aid assures crystal clear water. As filtration progresses the improved clarity and sparkle of water will be amazing.
