THIS DEPARTMENT requires exceptional young men to develop, implement and review our accounting and management information systems. We also need numbers of graduates to fill specialist positions within the accounting and programming fields. To get these men, the department offers a limited number f full-time university study awards to students taking (or about to take) the Accountant’s Professional qualification, the Bachelor of Commerce degree, or the Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree. These management accountants of the future will be assoelated with the financial control of works in a department responsible for 5250 million a year. The variety of construction and allied activity is unrivalled and they should be able to feel a sense of personal identification with the proposals w.ith which they will be concerned. Allowances: A standard allowance of $4OO each academic year payable with any universities or bursaries or supplementary bursaries and with junior scholarships. plus nine-tenths of the composite university fee, and a boarding allowance where applicable.
