Dog-trial titles New Zealand will be the host for the first world dogtrial championships, which will be held at Rotorua next February. The three top trialists in the British Isles will compete against Australian and New Zealand competitors. The organiser. Expo Promotions, Ltd, of Rotorua, has received confirmation that the champion dog trialists of England, Scotland and Wales, Messrs H. Huddleston, C. W. Storey and W. J. Evans, will take part in the trial.—(P.A.) Notifiable diseases Notifiable diseases reported in the Christchurch health district for the week ended December 2 included one case of infective hepatitis, one of pulmonary tuberculosis and two of salmonellosis.
