WOMEN’S RACE
My Darling, driven by her part-owner, Mrs F. Irvine, of Halswell, gained an easy win in the Hip-Hl Stakes, a race for women drivers, at Addington Raceway on Saturday. As well as his share of the stake, My Darling won a $lOO trophy for Mrs Irvine. All the other drivers also received trophies for their part in a race which created much interest. Result— HIP-HI STAKES, $550; 2:20 class; 10f.—My Darling It Mrs F. Irvine 1. Andata It Miss C. Dowling 2, Real Garrison It Mrs C. Dueart 3. Others in finishing order: Irton Globe, Leading Lass, Top Grade, Canny Hall, Evidence, Nyetalla, Black Batch (fell). Three lengths, length, head. Time: 2:41 2-5. Trainer. C. H. G. Irvine, Halsivell.
