C.V.Z. Prest Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 15. An appeal to business houses will be made in all towns throughout New Zealand this week in support of the Hurricane Bebe Fund. Local committees set up by C.0.R.5.0. to co-ordinate the fund-raising activities for Fijian relief are making personal approaches to prominent businessmen, and the head offices of national firms are being asked to consider making donations. Of the target of $75,000 for the public appeal, $7500 has been given by various groups in the first week of the campaign, which will culminate on November 17 with “Hurricane Bebe Day.” One of the first donations in the business house appeal has come from Todd Motor Industries, Ltd, which has contributed $lOOO.
