TV TIME REFUSED

(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Nov. 8. The New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation has declined a request from the Independent candidate for the West Coast (Dr B. M. Dallas) for television time during the election campaign. The chairman of the N.Z.B.C. (Major-General W. S. McKinnon), in a letter to the candidate, said that the allocation of political time had been carefully determined by the corporation which took many factors into consideration.
