Women representing 23 nations gathered in the Peruvian capital today to open a conference on “human resources for development,” sponsored by the International Women’s Council, the Associated Press said. Delegates to the conference, which will run until November 11, include 250 Peruvian women and 150 foreigners. They will consider such themes as the value of the human person in the family and the world, the development of agriculture and nutrition in relation to population growth, and the women in todays world.
