Doctor Ted stood down

After the Stewards’ Handicap an inquiry was held into interference with about two furlongs to run. It was'found that Doctor Ted was hanging badly and R. W. Townley was unable to keep him off inside horses, resulting in a number being checked. It was decided to declare Doctor Ted ineligible to start at totalisator meetings until after December 9. J H. Winter, the trainer of Sassenach, was warned to improve the barrier manners of his horse.
