Pascoe and Baxter
Sir, —Having in mind John Pascoe and James K. Baxter, both of whom have so recently died, I think of the following lines, which seem oddly fittirg for them both: Death drives the lovely soul To wander under the sky; Death opens unknown doors. It is most grand to die. —Yours, etc., CICELY LAWSON. October 26, 1972.
