Irrigation day

A field day will be held at the irrigation research station at Winchmore beginning at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29. The day will be opened by Dr L. R. Wallace, the director of the research division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, and the programme will include demonstrations of new equipment for land preparation to assist the surface irrigator, a demonstration on the automation of surface irrigation and demonstrations of the latest sprinkler irrigation equipment by commercial firms, as well as talks.
