Pit Stops
An unusual feature of the University Motor Club’s night trial on September 30 was that competitors had to build a poker hand from cards issued at check points. The best hand was that of G. Holgate, but the trial itself was completed without penalty by A. Robson (Austin Seven) and M. Fletcher (Cortina GT).
The next outing of the Armstrong Siddeley Car Club will be on November 19, and others have been set down for January 28 and March 11. The club secretary is Mr A. R. Jones, of 23 Retreat Road,; Christchurch. $ & sf:
