Merivale flats at §25,000

A two-storey house, divided into two selfcontained flats, on a 25.4petch section at 2A Cheltenham Street, Merivale, was sold at auction yesterday for $25,000. The Government valuation is $13,250. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan, of Binns, Barber, and Keenan, Ltd. A bungalow on a 25.2perch section zoned residential 4, at 19 Deyell Crescent, Spreydon, was passed in at auction for $lO,OOO. The Government valuation is $5400. Mr Keenan was the auctioneer.

Two self-contained flats at 112-114 Jerrold Street, Addington, were passed) in for $13,000. The flats have a Government valuation of $7600. Mr Miles McCrostie was the auctioneer, for N. H. McCrostie and Company, Ltd.

A bungalow with two double bedrooms at 29 Ensors Road, Opawa, was sold for $9600. The property, on a 24-perch section, has a Government valuation of $5BOO. Mr L. B. Allan, of Matson and Allan, Ltd, was the auctioneer. A four-bedroom house at 73 Bletsoe Avenue, Spreydon, was passed in at $B2OO, double the Government valuation.

A bungalow and attached shop on a 21.3-perch section on the comer of Slater Street and Guild Street, St Albans, was also passed in at $9500. The Government valuation is $5OOO.

The auctioneer of both properties was Mr M. J. C. Robinson, of Matthew Robinson, Ltd.
