MRS F. McKINNEY (LEFT) RECEIVES THE McLAREN CUP from Mrs R. J. McLaren, a former club president, at the fifty-ninth anniversary celebrations of the Canterbury Women’s Club in Christchurch yesterday. The cup is presented to a club member for charitable club and community work during the year. At the same meeting four members were admitted to life membership: Miss K. Stewart, Mesdames W. Williamson, E. Weston, and W. P. Spencer. More than 100 club members attended the celebrations.
