Pool-patio furniture

Here are some examples of outdoor furniture which would be suitable for putting on the patio or near the home swimming pool. The pieces were designed and built by Jim Barr home handyman adviser to “The Press.” All the pieces are made of New Zealand timbers and are suitable for painting, varnishing or oiling. The timber is treated to ensure long life resistance to extremes of weather. The pieces need not be brought in out of the rain and the exposure to the sun will not be unduly harmful, The large lounge or sunloafer will serve equally well as a table for barbeques by dropping the back rest. Foam plastic cushions will soften the seats. The circular table and armchair have also become verj popular since they first became available. There is also a largei armchair that will sit two 01 three people. All the pieces are available in kitset form With the approach of Christmas they would make an ideal family present.
