Diamond ring stolen

A diamond cluster ring valued at $340 was among property stolen from a house in Glandovey Road, Bryndwr, in a daylight burglary yesterday. Also taken in the burglary were a silver necklet worth $l5, a gold muff chain worth $l5, and a transistor radio worth $24. The house was entered by forcing a window at the side between 8.45 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Drawers in the house were forced to steal the goods. In another burglary reported yesterday a casette tape recorder and a cheque, together worth $lB4, were stolen from a house in Aikmans Road, Merivale. The burglars entered through a bathroom window left open for a cat.
