BELFAST MATCH

No change in plans (N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON. Preparations for the fixture between the All Blacks and Ulster in Belfast on November 18 are going ahead. A spokesman for the Royal Ulster Constabulary said yesterday that there would be no difficulty in controlling the 15,000 crowd which is expected. “We have no reason to believe that it will be anything other than a peaceful and enjoyable occasion,” he added. The secretary of the four Home Unions’ tours committee, Mr A. Agar, said that the match had been accepted by the New Zealand Rugby Union and that hotel and travel bookings had already been made.

Recently, the Lancashire county side cancelled a game with Ulster because of the political situation in Northern Ireland. This was to have been a warmup fixture for the All Blacks match.
