Pre-tour training
C.V.Z. Frets Association) AUCKLAND. The sharpening-up programme for the Kiwis as they get ready for Rugby league’s world Cup continued yesterday with another run at the Mount Richmond domain. The coach (Mr D. Barchard) continued to shuffle players out of the 13 running the ball and into the reserves as he strove to get all acquainted with moves. Only the full-back, J. Wilson, has not trained with the team yet. He is still limping from an ankle injury he suffered two weeks ago when playing for New Zealand Maoris against Auckland. When he is not receiving treatment, Wilson is working cut by himself.
