ONE TON CUP
Confirmation of team (N.I. Prest Altociation) AUCKLAND. The Roys! New Zealand Yacht Squadron last night confirmed Wai-Aniwa (skippered by C. Bouxaid), Pathfinder <R. Dickson) and Young Nick (P. Mulgrew) as the official New Zealand team for the One Ton Cup races in Sydney starting on December S. These yachts finished in that order in the trials which ended In Auckland at the week-end. and it was just a matter for the committee to confirm the entries. It is expected that the skippen and their crews will all be In Sydney at least eight or 10 days before the first race The half-tonnen, which will bn represented by a three-yacht team in the International series In Sydney in December, will not be known until the club which organised the trials, the Royal Akarana Yacht Club, meets later tliis month. It is expected that thia committee, too, will confirm the three first place-getters tn the trials. They were; Pretender (D. Brooke), Cavalier II (R. J. Salthouse) and Mokoia (T. Fyfe).
