N.Z. beer at test

(From the London correspondent of "The Press." LONDON, Oct. 15. A full container-load of New Zealand beer has arrived in London for distribution and sale to thirsty All Black supporters. The brewer which has the sole concession at Twickenham, will sell New Zealand Lion-brand lager as Well as its own product on the day of the test match, January 6. There are 30 bars at the ground, and the New Zealand beer will be well-publicised. Inquiries have also been received from Cardiff and Birmingham for a share of the 3000-carton consignment. However, a longer-term future for the New Zealand import has been assured by the decision of a chain of “off-licence” liquor stores to stock it for retail customers.
