Sir, —I. think possibly the : men that T. M. Abbott was < referring to were the same : ones who were in the Somer- i field district some weeks ago.!They had their lunch in the h cabin of the truck and then ] threw out big greasy papers , on the road. They seemed to i think it a great joke when a very elderly woman picked j them up and took them away. , Their sense of humour was : very poor and equal to their sense of civic pride.—Yours, 1 etc., KEEP N.Z.
