United cup side to play Brighton

Christchurch United will have only its left-back, G. Davis, and goal-keeper, A. Fleming, missing from the Gillette Chatham Cupwinning side for the Jefferies Trophy match with New Brighton at English Park this evening.

Davis, who is on holiday, will be replaced by J. Oliver, and W. Weir will be in goal in Fleming’s place. A third change wifi be S. Cameron for G. Dacombe, but Dacombe will be included among the reserves. Brighton expects to field its strongest side: D. Phillips, W. McKennia, T. Langan, W. Chisholm, J. Kroon, A. Smith, G. Taylor, S. Cully, W. Quirke, G. Storer, C. Cawley. This will be the fourth meeting between the two clubs this season, the present score standing at two wins for United and a draw.
