Cycling.—A. Gowland (Britain) and P Seru (Belgium) won the Skol six day cycle race at Wembley. London by a narrow margin. They finished on the same lap as the runners-up. G. Karstens and L. Duyndam (Netherlands) but had 61 points to the , Dutch pair’s 48 points.
