Election date discussed

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, Sept. 26. The Australian Prime Minister (Mr McMahon) said today he had had three discussions with the New Zealand Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) about elections. He said he had agreed that the New Zealand election should be held on November 25, but had made no statement about the date of the Australian election. Mr McMahon denied that he had made a “deal” with Mr Marshall to hold elections in both countries on November 25.
