Top golfers meet

The New Zealand golf representative, Miss S. A. Hamilton, will be attempting revenge against Mrs N. D. Cullen, a former national champion, at Russley today. They meet in the Russley club’s 36-hole final, and on their two previous meetings —in Canterbury and national championships—Mrs Cullen has won both, 4 and 3, over 18 holes.

Mrs Cullen had a harder path to the final, only winning her 18-hole semi-final against Miss M. Lafferty, 1 up. Miss Hamilton beat Mrs J. Lewis, 5 and 4, and was one under the card when the match finished.
