Lightning twice
Lightning has struck twice in the golfing career of Mr C. Z. Freeman, aged 61, a member of the Harewood club.
On May 11, he holed in one at the eleventh (120 yards) using a 6 iron. Recently he holed in one again, at the seventeenth (150 yards), using a 5 wood. Harewood members are convinced that no Christchurch player has had two holes in one in so short a period of time. Mr Freeman plays on a handicap of 20.
