CRICKET TOUR

Ten test players from three countries are included in a 13-man cricket team to make a 10-day, three-match tour of Rhodesia later this month, it was announced in Salisbury yesterday. The test players are: From England: B. D. Close (capt.), J. H. Edrich, B. L. d’Oliveira, J. Jamieson, J. Parks, A. Greig, and N. Gifford. From Australia: G. McKenzie and B. Francis. From New Zealand: G. M. Turner. Making up the team will be the English county batsman, D. Green, of Gloucestershire, and M. Kitchen, of Somerset, and the Australian wicket-keeper, J. McLean, of Queensland. The team, called the International Wanderers, will play Rhodesian teams in Salisbury and Bulawayo and a Midlands invitation side in Gwelo.
