N.Z. NOT AFFECTED

Games TV dispute rtV.Z. Pr«l« Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation's plans for television coverage of the Munich Olympic Games will not be affected by the threatened stoppage by members of the Australian Professional Radio Employees Institute. Its members have barred direct television coverage from Munich in support of a demand for a 7J per cent wage rise. An official of the N.Z.B.C. said yesterday that the edited film of the Games would be flown to New Zealand for screening three days after the events covered. The threatened ban would not have any effect on possible satellite transmissions to New Zealand from Munich as these were negotiated independently of Australia and did not come through Australia, he added.
