$3m to Sydney racing clubs
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) SYDNEY. The Australian Jockey Club and the Sydney Turf Club between them will get a total of $3,773,091 as their share of this year’s T.A.B. distribution to race clubs. This Is more than a third of the total amount of $9,313,566 which is to be distributed among galloping, trotting and greyhound clubs in New South Wales.
The A.J.C. will get $1,942,271, a rise of $301,136 on last year, while the S.T.C. will get $1,830,820. a rise of $llB,OOO. The T.A.B. on Tuesday reported that the percentage bet on galloping continued to drop while both trotting and greyhound betting increased.
