Anna Palk in comedy

Anna Palk, who played David Main’s secretary in “The Main Chance,” stars in a "Comedy Playhouse” programme, “It’s Awfully Bad for Your Eyes, Darling” on Monday night. Mrs Ryder-Ross has an unsullied, and completely distorted picture of her beloved daughter, and when she pays a visit to Samantha’s flat it takes her flat mates all their time and ingenuity to keep mother’s illusions from being shattered. Their efforts are complicated by the presence of Samantha’s current boy friend and the arrival of an unidentified drunk, both of whom the girls attempt to blend into their feminine scene.

Anna Palk as Samantha stars with Joanna Lumley and Jeremy Lloyd, and the comedy was produced by John Howard Davies for 8.8.C.-TV.
