Three houses sold
A weatherboard bungalow with two bedrooms, on a 27perch section at 323 Barrington Street, was sold at auction on Tuesday for $BB5O. The Government valuation is $5650. An older house with a four bedrooms, at 12 George Street, Riccarton, was passed in at $7600. The Government valuation is $5400. Both properties were auctioned by Mr C. R. Blackett, of Livingstone and Company. A five room bungalow on a 17.6-perch section at 20 Flockton Street, St Albans, was sold by Mr C. M. Robertson, of Sherris and Wilson, Ltd, for $7OOO. The Government valuation is $4500. A house with two bedrooms on 24 perches at 44 Milton Street, Spreydon, was sold for $8750. The Government valuation is $5OOO. The house has front and back enclosed sunporches, as well as a double garage, workshop, and potting shed. Mr E. G. Keenan, of Binns, Barber and Keenan, Ltd, was the auctioneer.
