POLITICAL REVUE

There hasn’t been much revue in Sydney since the old Phillip Street Theatre days. But the Macleay Theatre is pulling them in at the moment with the Mavis McMahon Show. (No prizes for guessing that in this election year of 1972 it has a lot to do with politics in general and some well-known political figures in particular.) But satirical and funny as the Sydney show is, I’m told there’s one in Melbourne that is even more so. Its title, “The Sonia Leg and Thigh Show.”
