MR MAURICE BOLAND, who has been appointed by 3M Australia Pty, Ltd, to the newly-created position of marketing manager for New Zealand. Mr Boland joined the company as a salesman in Christchurch in 1959, and became sales supervisor for the southern region in Wellington. Since then he has held a number of management positions in the company, the most recent being sales and marketing manager for the tapes and medical products group-
