Land for fire station

The Waimairi County Council has agreed to give the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board an area of land in Brooklands for a fire station. It will charge a dollar a year for the first 21 years of the lease for part of a reserved area. Plans have been prepared for a volunteer fire brigade.
