Approval of motel
Approval for the building of a six-storey, 60-bedroom motel unit by Avon Motor Lodge Ltd, on a site of two acres 15.8 perches east of Oxford Terrace and south of Willow Street, was approved by the City Council last evening. The town planning committee reported that the extension to the Avon Lodge Hotel was in the public interest.
