OPPOSITION TO TESTS

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 21. The Minister of Foreign Affairs (Sir Keith Holyoake) may attend the opening of the United Nations General Assembly. The Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) said today that this would depend on the progress made in arranging the meeting in New York of countries opposed to nuclear testing. New Zealand had taken the initiative on this, Mr Marshall said.
