WOOL PLAN VOTE
Another branch of Federated Farmers in Mid-Cant-erbury has voted in favour of the Wool Marketing Corporation proposals and has approved a resolution urging that slipe wools and Drysdale wools should not be excluded from the powers of the cot poration. The branch is EalingCarew, and there was an attendance of 80 per cent of it s membership at a special meeting on Wednesday even ing called at the request of five members. A motion opposing the inclusion of compulsory acquisition provisions in the legislation establishing a corporation was defeated by 30 votes to 17 in a secret ba I lot. On percentage this wain line with the voting at a special meeting called earlier but then there was a smaller attendance. Only one voice was raised against a resolution that n< exemptions should be given to slipe wool or Drysdale wool by the proposed corporation
