Cousteau series

The Jacques Cousteau documentaries are extremely popular with viewers, and many will welcome the re-

turn of “The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau” for a further brief series. Cousteau always manages to communicate the mystery, fascination and beauty of the world under water, and his films have won major prizes in film competitions in Cannes, Venice and Paris, as well as three Academy Awards.

In this series, his programmes are called “A Sound of Dolphins,” “Octopus Octopus,” “The Unsinkable Sea Otter,” and “Forgotten Mermaids.” “The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau,” begins screening from CHTV3 on Sunday.
