“I Love a mystery”

"I Love A Mystery,” a Universal production, is liberally sprinkled with red herrings, which include mysterious boats, secret islands, castle hideaways, hungry lions, and of course, people who are really someone else in disguise.

There are too, the inevitable beauties thrown in to distract the three detectives whose job it is to track down a well-insured businessman who has suddenly disappeared. Starring are Ida Lupino, with Les Crane, David Hartman and Hagan Beggs as the trio of super-sleuths, while Don Knotts and Terry Thomas add their names in guest starring roles. “I Love A Mystery” is on CHTV3’s programme next Saturday.
